The snow is finally melting and I can see the grass again. Its not green but it will be soon! Stores are full of spring décor and I bought two caged bird feeders today. These are my very first bird feeders I have ever bought and am super excited!! It didn't take long for a young blue jay to come feed after I hung them. I slowly opened my door and snapped a quick pic before it flew away. A little later in the day a squirrel decided he was going to help himself to a tasty meal. I tried taking a picture of him but my cat ran out the door and scared him away. She sat there for a while in a crouched position hoping he would come back. (He never did) I snapped a picture of her and smiled at how closely she resembled the leaves on the ground. I pray she never gets out and I don't know. I would never find her if she was hiding!! I pray tomorrow brings more birds and squirrels to my feeder and I will have more pictures to post. There is nothing more peaceful than watching birds in your backyard! There is nothing that makes my day brighter than to take an up close picture of one of Gods beautiful creatures and post it for all to see : )
